Hidden Chapters in a Brown Leather Book

Frights, Frowns and Flourishing

I’ve not done of those long speeches for a while now, it seems that every time I do one I have the Scrubs background music on just wandering off into my imagination land. So here goes another episode of tilting my head a little and cutting to the white.

This evening I went with two friends and one special lady to see the movie Woman in Black, or as it might be seen as racist to a white person standing up randomly assuming it could be insulting (Thanks for ruining Baa Baa Black Sheep) Woman in [African American] No offence intended, not really a funny joke just something I am going to use to show how pathetic some changes can be to pretend that racism is non-existent.

But this movie is a title under Horror, something that has me wondering. “Why do people enjoy trying to find new ways to soil themselves publicly?” This quickly led to a presentation of how varied in psychotics we can all be.

On one hand you have the lazy ignorant people that spend too much time giggling at the fact that Daniel Radcliffe has decided to ditch his wand while a potronus would work perfectly well against imagination. In contrast to the serious edgy types that occasionally shout out “Oh my God something is about to happen”.

you would never guess who had the most fun during the movie as one type stormed off screaming “Quick before we get raped” while the other wishes that someone brought a black veil to have even more fun teasing the audience, well that ruined the game… Congratulations I gave you all an answer.

So here is what I was hoping to boil everything down to.

If you take every moment to be suspense filled anticipating what is going to happen next, you will miss what is already showing itself in the present. Meanwhile, taking it all too relaxed means you miss out on the point but you will always end up smiling. Honestly, I would prefer having a smile on my face instead of needing a new pair of jeans. But that is my choice, I am comfortable with how I balanced myself so that I can only be serious when I really, REALLY need to be. Others may beg to differ being comfortable with breaking a sweat and following some level of order.

So as long as you are happy with who you are. Make sure you are smiling, because life is one event after another, no intermissions, no pauses or rewinds, so spend too long looking on and you lose out on everything. Hence why every year we get a little older, just like in one minute. I’ll jump ahead to the next digit in my life.

See you on the other side.
